 Poem:  Try Again

         

Stanza 1:

                      Tis a lesson you should heed, 
Try again;  

                                           If at first, you don't succeed, 
                                    Try again;  
                           Then your courage should appear, 
                                        For if you persevere, 
                              You will conquer, never fear 
                                             Try again; 

Paraphrasing: 

                        The lesson you should pay attention to is to try again. If you face failure on the first attempt, you should try again. Failure shows the path to success. You should learn from it and be courageous. If you remain persistent in your struggles, you will materialize your objectives in life. You should not fear failure. Try again and again until you succeed in achieving your goals.   
 

Stanza 2:

               Once or twice though you should fail, 
If you would at last prevail 

                                               Trying again. 
                         If we strive, tis no disgrace 

                           Though we did not win the race 

                      What should you do in that case? 

                                                 Try again. 

Paraphrasing:

                         You might fail once or twice in achieving your goals, but you should remain steadfast and keep trying. There is no insult to hard work and persistence after getting failed. Even if you do not win the competition, you have no other option but to keep trying without getting discouraged. 
 

Stanza 3:

                             If you find your task is hard. 
                                      Try again. 

                          Time will bring you your reward, 

                                          Try again. 

                                All that other folk can do, 

                       What with patience should not you? 

                                Only keep this rule in view, 

                                           Try again. 

Paraphrasing: 

                         If you find your task hard, do not give up and try again. Time will bring you your reward in the form of success. Keep one rule in view, when all other people can do the task with patience, why shouldn’t you?
